Hi, On my search for new materials to be folded, I tried to fold clay. The idea was to fold a paper model (corrugation, to be precise), flatten it, put a layer of soft clay on it, and refold them together. It didn't really worked, since the paper absorbed the humidity and became too soft to hold the clay. It took me awhile to realize I can coat the paper (190 GSM Elephant Hide) with foil and avoid that problem. Having that in mind, I realized I can use the same technique to make a baking dish. I knew, from reasons not to be told yet, I can bake Elephant Hide in the oven, and I was quick to test this idea. This is the result:

Best to use is thick baking paper. I am still waiting to hear from Zanders if there is any risk in baking Elephant Hide. And make sure you are baking a chocolate cake, of course! Ilan Garibi
