After Sy posted about compiling David's essays etc., I realized that I have some very long and rather special emails from David stashed away somewhere. These were in response to topics I'd queried him about, or something we got off on discussing. I also think I have a photo or two, including one of his ancestral home in Grimsby, I bet there are a lot of us with these little personal treasures from Mr. Lister. I would certainly be willing to share and will be hunting these down.
I adored David. He was a true Renaissance Man. His knowledge extended into many topics far beyond origami. I had great admiration for him and am sorry I never got there to meet him.
