Search the Origami Database for "snowflower" by "shen" and you get: Snow flower (hexagon) Shen, Philip Quarterly Oru Folding Diagrams Vol.2 Snowflower Shen, Philip BOS Booklet 70: Philip Shen: More Geometric Paperfolds Snowflower Shen, Philip Der Falter Issue 3 (I'm reasonably sure that the word for "snowflake" in Chinese is written with two characters which separately mean "snow" and "flower," and the title has been translated into English that way, possibly mistakenly. In the Oru diagrams, the title is written with the same two characters. It is also possible that the name was intentionally ambiguous, since the piece does resemble something somewhere between a snowflake and a flower... I don't know for sure.) The BOS booklet appears to still be available; the Oru book is out of print; and I don't know about back issues of Der Falter. Hope that helps! Anne
