Hi everyone,

I'm happy to announce some new videos of mine.

1. Star Infinity by Francesco Guarnieri
I recently discovered that Francesco designed another gem this August: his
Star Infinity and variations. So I printed off his crease pattern, folded
the model, and tried to find a nice folding sequence - and after some
initial puzzling found a very easy way of creating the crease pattern. It
made me fall in love with the model yet again.
So I was really happy when I heard back from Francesco that he'd give me
permission to present this model in an instructional video. This morning I
recorded and edited the video, so that you can enjoy it now. Thank you,
Francesco, for a fantastic model, and for your generous permission to share
the folding of this model with everyone!

Also be sure to check out Francesco's website

Infinity are so beautiful, too, and the crease patterns are very similar.

2. Time lapses
Ioana Stoian gave me two sheets of some wonderful paper, which she had
produced herself in Japan - right from chopping down the trees. It was
clear to me I had to do something special with it. As the paper has
wonderful deckle edges, I wanted to fold tessellations from the sheets. And
I was also in an experimental mood, so decided to color the paper with some
aquarelle pencils.
I don't often fold simply for folding's sake nowadays, so I decided to
capture my folding, and made time lapses out of it.
I folded a tiled hydrangea (Shuzu Fujimoto) from the first sheet:

and a square weave (Eric Gjerde) from the second sheet:

Hope you enjoy these different kind of videos, too! (And, yes, I am going
to frame these and give them away.)

Best wishes and happy folding,

-- Sara
