Hi.
My 90 yr old Viennese mother-in-law recalls that, as a little girl, she folded
a horse or dog. If you pulled its tail, its head would go up and down. Does
anyone recognize a traditional model like this? Point me to diagrams or photos?
I'd be delighted to be able to show it to her.
Even though her short-term memory is terrible, her fingers still know the
traditional paper hat and its transformation into a paper boat as well as the
traditional steamship ( from blintz base). She fondly remembers spending
evenings with her mother and brother folding paper ("there was no TV, of
course.")
