Hi everyone!

I have a mission and I REALLY hope you will all help me out a bit. I want
to try to catalog all the different origami gift wrapping techniques that
exist. This is different from a box, bag, or envelope model; in an origami
gift wrapping technique the gift becomes part of the folding process. Some
of the initial folds are made around the gift in order for it to be really
wrapped at the end. Know what I mean? Unlike traditional gift wrapping, you
wrap the gift using only the paper and folds.

I remember that Dennis Walker had mentioned here in the list that he has
used a particular technique for doing this. Dennis, would you please wrap
anything with it, take a picture, upload it anywhere in the web and share
the URL through the list? If it has a foldless front, please include a
picture of the side that shows the folds so we can appreciate it better
from an origamistic point of view.

But I'm sure Dennis isn't the only one that knows a particular origami gift
wrapping technique, Sy Chen knows a couple too. He actually was the one
that assigned me this mission ; )

Who else knows one? PLEEEASE... would you all do the same I ask from
Dennis: wrap anything using the technique, take a picture, upload it
anywhere in the web, and share the URL through the list? Don't forget
showing the side with the folds!

It would also be very helpful to know how did you learn the technique, if
it has a name, and if it is was proposed by a particular origamist.

C'mon, don't make me beg... it won't take too much of your time and this
can actually help out other people in the future : )
