Thanks for that Dennis; I can see the pleat fold! So if I understand
correctly you first fold the front flap that's next to the pleat fold, then
you fold the back flap over the front one and inside the pocket created by
the pleat?

Well, here's my contribution to the cataloguing proccess. I thought about
the following style basing it upon Sy Chens own idea of how to use pleats
in order to wrap a gift origami-style.

You could say I make a small "belt" by making the two pleat folds across
the paper. I need a lot of extra paper both at the top and the bottom in
order to make four big tips. I insert a bit of each tip under the "belt".

Sy Chen, Dennis Walker, and I wonder if this has been done before: "origami
gift wrapping", specially using pleats to accomplish it. Does any if you
know something about this?

I really hope some other members share more techniques : )
