The module is made from a fish base, that's folded flat to create 2 long > skinny triangles & 2 short wide triangles. The model is then pieced > together by interlocking the triangles... at top it'd be L wide triangle > over R wide triangle & at bottom it'd be L skinny triangle over R skinny > triangle. So there's some tension in the locking. The final lock is where > two little triangles sticking out are folded over & tucked into adjacent > pockets. The resultant ring/star is delicate but holds well together & has > 16 skinny spikes around the edge. > > Thanks... > Vishakha > NYC > .
This description and the photos that were posted do not make any sense to me. From the fish base, do you mountain fold along the long center line to create a module? The short wide triangles would be on each side of the module (back and front) Or do you mountain fold along the the short center line, so that the two short wide triangles are on the right side while the two long skinny triangles are on the left? Could some one photograph a single module please? Thanks.
