It would be interesting (problematic to be sure, but definitely
interesting) to improvise a puncturing tool with paper.  You have a nice
fine edge, and can support loads of compressive stress with some kind of
cusp crimp.  It would be a matter of the materials properties of the
"paper" to make something that could puncture plastic sheeting, leather,
... metal?
