Dear Folders,
Our Origami group conducts workshops for beginners. We believe that main stress in the workshop should be on developing ability to read diagrams. We give a small booklet with diagrams. At begining help is given for folding few models. But here also we encourage them first look at diagrams and then follow our instructions. We call our workshops Origami literacy workshops. Our course is divided into three levels. First level involves only valley and mountain folds and models are traditional. However, in second and third level procedures like reverse folding, sinking , crimping etc. are taught. It would be possible to teach these procedures from traditional folds. However, we would like new folders to know some accomplished creators from begining. For this purpose we want to use following models.
