I searched for some instructions to make an origami frog (a model I had never folded before) for my nephew. I found a simple one at: http://web-japan.org/kidsweb/virtual/origami2/exploring01_06.html
At the end it tells you to place your finger on the back of the frog to make it jump and I've done so but it doesn't jump. On the other hand if I press on that other part that looks like "the lower step on a stair" near the back legs, it jumps ok. I searched other diagrams of the same model (and some small variations) and found them at: http://www.snapthepix.com/Origami-Frog http://www.giladorigami.com/swami/yamifrog.gif http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_nJLOuss1ip0/S7FRPV5J9ZI/AAAAAAAACT4/bUVhApZ69d0/s1600/jumping-frog.gif http://www.origami-fun.com/origami-jumping-frog.html And all of them show the finger pressing the back of the frog to make it jump, which no matter how I do it, it doesn't work, while pressing the "lower step" makes it work fine. So are all of these instructions wrong or am I pressing in the wrong spot? -- Jorge Jaramillo
