I would have to agree with other folks replying - 3D printed objects have a
roughness on the surface from the layers that are built up to form the
object, although I suppose some sandpaper might work that out for you.  But
If you have no bone folders near you, I'll note that searching for them on
Amazon came up with options pretty quickly, and for prices much lower than
the cost of a 3D printer. (I got my first one from a Barnes & Noble Origami
kit (although it's more of a plastic bone folder), and picked up what feels
like a more real one in LA last weekend at a bookstore in Japan Town.)
