very simple flat frame." He described his folding techniques and provided a
link to a photo of the frame model.
A very similar model, in appearance, was designed by Alice Gray. She taught
her 3-D Picture Frame model at the 1980 Friends of The Origami Center of
America Convention. At the time I asked her if I could diagram and share this
model and she gave me permission. Sadly Alice died several years later. I
finally got around to completing the diagram-in order to preserve the model-in
2007 and taught it at the 2008 OrigamiUSA Convention. Since then I also have a
partially finished design variation of a 3-D Frame with a matte frame inside
surrounding a photograph. Unfortunately I do not yet have a link to pictures
of these models, but I am working on that, so watch for a future post.
Gerardo: it's possible that your folding steps have some differences from
Alice's.
