OK, I've looked up a bit about linkages and kinematics. WOW! Thank you for your answers to my question.
1) Who created the origami pliers? Do you know what model I mean? It probably has a different name. It's an action model folded from a fish base. 2) Anyway, as I understand it, they work by using linkages. It's kinematics. Am I right? And that isn't covered by any of the simple machines, correct? 3) Finally, kinematic machines made from origami principles is called rigid origami, yes? Thanks in advance ; )
