Hello again!

here's an update on the videos I published in the last month:

1. Tutorial: "Star Luisium" by Angelika Spindler
In May 2017 I met Angelika at the German Origami Convention and attended
her workshop on her "Star Luisium". I not only found a new friend in her,
but also deeply fell in love with her design. So of course I had to ask her
whether she'd allow me to present her star!
First I drew diagrams for "Star Luisium", which I made available in the
beginning of September (when I taught a workshop on the star at the BOS
convention). And as of today there's also a video tutorial for you to
enjoy. After all, November is the perfect time to start with all those
Christmas folds!

Thanks again to Angelika for this fantastic design, as well as her
permission to make it available to you. Be sure to also check out her
website, which includes a gallery of some of her folds at

designs at http://flotterfalter.de/anleitungen/

2. Tutorial: traditional spider
I hope you all had a great Halloween! Following up my video on Kay
Kraschewski's owl, I also presented another model fit for Halloween: a
traditional spider, folded from two squares of paper. So if you're
searching for an easy, icky fold, do give it a try. It also seconds as a
good origami tick. ;)

3. Time-lapse and ASMR: "1-Cube Exercise" by Alessandro Beber
If you haven't heard of Alessandro's book "Origami New Worlds" yet, my new
time-lapse and ASMR videos will hopefully remedy that and whet your
appetite to learn more about Alessandro's mesmerizing work.

Thanks to Alessandro for his ingenious work, a wonderful book, and his
permission to showcase some of it in my videos. By the way, the book also
includes links to videos, which show the techniques Alessandro explains in
the book. So it's a great addition to your origami library irrespective of
whether you prefer crease patterns, diagrams, or videos.
I've listed multiple ways in which you can purchase the book on
https://www.happyfolding.com/book-beber-origami_new_worlds - so do check
that out.
Plus, check out Alessandro's YouTube channel

and his Flickr stream for photos of many wonderful folds:

And as a special bonus, Alessandro has also given me permission to produce
a tutorial for the "1-Cube Exercise". So stay tuned for that in 2018!

4. What's next?
Finally, are you curious which videos I'll be publishing next? If you'd
like to know ahead of time what's soon to come, follow happyfolding's
Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/happyfolding/ - I've started sharing
which videos I've finished recording and editing there.

Best wishes and happy folding,

-- Sara
