Another possibility is the painting "El camino de la gloria artistica" (ca 1855) by José González Bande.

In the painting, you can on the floor 2 pajaritas and in right a boy wearing a paper hat.

Hi All -

I know I have seen pictures of a painting where a little girl is holding a pajarita in her hand.  While visiting The Prado I thought I saw the picture, but there was no pajarita. I must be conflating two pictures, but i can't find the right phrasing to Google it. Any ideas?
