All, I am now able to get to step 5, but the post_clients script for mpich fails.
I had to do the following in the current oscar cvs to get this far: 1) In packages/lam/config.xml, I had to change lam-oscar-module and lam-gm-oscar-module to lam-oscar-modulefile and lam-gm-oscar-modulefile respectively 2) In packages/lam/scripts/setup, I had to change the @good_files grep to accept any file with "lam-" or "libaio" prefixes (the switcher and gm files were being missed). 3) In packages/lam/config.xml, I had to temporarily comment out the *gm* files, as there's no libgm.so 4) The missing libaio is back, so I added it to oscarsamples/redhat-9-i386.rpmlist along with some of the other files in RH's core+base rpm lists (/cdrom/RedHat/base/comps.xml). I notice that PackageBest is taking more than two minutes. This should probably be handed off to Depman/Packman; I would expect to knock about 1:30 off. -- dnl ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by Black Hat Briefings & Training.
