As should not be too surprising, the identical problem exists on RHEL3. The
problem was avoided on IA64 by creating an empty tftp-hpa rpm to work-around
the ODA architecture filter bug. Neither that work-around nor a proper
solution to the filter bug can be used on RHEL3 IA32 or FC2. Clearly, an
alternate solution is required for FC2 and both RHEL3 platforms...

To get past this problem for RHEL3-IA32 testing, I removed the tftp-server and
system-config-netboot packages from the server, allowing the installation to
proceed. The rpms remained in /tftpboot/rpm, but they're harmless there...

I have no experience with tftp-server on RHEL or FC2; nor have I tested
tftp-server to see if it could replace tftp-hpa. However, looking at the
tftp-server rpm (and its parent, tftp), I see no info about its heritage,
suggesting it's from netkit -- and tftp-hpa is known to be a better server than
netkit.

I should note that my past experience has been that atftp is a substantially
better package than tftp-hpa - but
1) it would suffer the same problem that opened this thread
2) it's waaaaay too late to contemplate atftp for OSCAR 4.0

Note: For RHEL3-IA32, I also had to:

- hack oscarsamples/redhat-3as-i386.rpmlist to remove versioning info from
tzdata and the kernel packages.
- provide a mysql-server package (not included by RH)
