OK, MDK gurus,

So, what's the deal with network config on MDK10 on vmware?  I've got
/etc/sysconfig/network and /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 set
up, but the network fails to come up on boot.  Every attempt to manually
start via

  /etc/init.d/network start

fails with

  Sorry, there is already an instance of ifplugd for eth0 running

But, a simple

  ifup eth0

works!

I tried commenting out the INTERFACES item in /etc/ifplugd/ifplugd.conf,
but this didn't help....

I HATE nanny-os helpers like kudzu, supermount, and other falderal.
