didn't really understand that. i'm about to reinstall everything cause
it's a reflex now, so can i stick with the branch that bernard's patch
works on or must i check out the trunk?

also as it said in the readme, the nodes' /etc/modprobe.conf file didn't
work, so i used the 1 that gets created in rescue mode which is just a
1 liner alias for my NIC driver & they're happy. but there's a file
/etc/modprobe.conf.dist on the nodes with 160+ lines of stuff that looks
similar to the /etc/modprobe.conf on another 2.6 kernel cluster with
identical architecture. is my 1 liner /etc/modprobe.conf sufficient?

& after running <test cluster setup> the user oscartst appears, can i delete 
that?
