Hi,

Thanks for you guys great work first.

We have been using OSCAR for two years, using OSCAR2.1 on RH7.3. From beginning of this year, I am building new cluster using OSCAR4.0 on FC2 system. Thanks to you guys help, the new cluster is up and running our MPICH program now.

I notice that OSCAR4.1beta8 is out and am considering to update our current 4.0. Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated on:
1. Whether the updating could preserver our current cluster environment and configuration, such as nodes, queue, switcher, etc.
2. Does it only need update the Oscar server, or client image, or each nodes?
3. Does the update need to shutdown and reboot pbs server, mom, scheduler, or whole OS system?
4. Does the update including MPICH, and does it need to recompile and distribute our MPI program?
5. What's else important need pay attention while updating?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Best Regards,
