The current Oscar iteration does not include any automatic update functionality.

Generally I just start over from scratch with a new version (often
using the oportunity to update the operating system as well) and a
fresh Oscar install.  I suppose you could also just use the included
rpms and/or source code to update the packages piecemeal if you
wanted, but it would be quite labor intensive.

I find it is a bit like moving every couple of years in that it tends
to keep my filesystem less cluttered :)  Of course, I only have three
users so I could see it being more inconvenient for others.
