Hey Thomas: SELinux issue is documented in the release notes, there is currently a bug open to have oscar_wizard check whether this is enabled/permissive and spit out a warning message to the user.
The scriptlet failing is because of SELinux issues with chroot environment - I am not sure how it relates to LVM. On a related note, SystemImager is supposed to work with LVM, but I have never actually used it - not sure if that is what you are asking about anyways.
