Hi DongInn,

on a fresh virgin fc3-i386 just installed from a DVD ISO into a vmware virtual
machine I passed the first two "Calling gencache ..." points without
problems. I installed FC3 with the Workstation package selection.

But: the installed createrepo package was the original one from fedora, which
is too old! As a workaround please try installing manually the createrepo
package which comes with OSCAR _before_ starting the installation.

I will fix this issue immediately, but still don't understand the general
statement from Bernard that this happens on RHEL4, FC3 and FC4. I cannot
see this happening on RHEL4 and didn't try yet on FC4. FC3 comes with an old
createrepo which gets installed by mistake, I can understand that.

Regards,
Erich
