Hi,

the "yum -y update" took quite a while, but it helped. The FC3 virtual machine
runs now at normal speed. For OSCAR testing do:

yum -y update
# reboot
cd /var/cache/yum/updates-released/packages
mv *.rpm /tftpboot/distro/fedora-3-i386

This gets your repository in sync with the installed RPMs.
