Hi,
I'm "re-opening" this thread since a similar problem is now happening.
I've compiled the latest mpich-oscar version (1.2.7-8) with success, but the
test in failling in step 8. I've checked for the presence of lam and I believe
that everythin is correct.
I have also performed the test as 'oscartest' user with the following result:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Running MPICH test
--> MPI C bindings test:
TEST FAILED!
Commands: cp cpi.c /tmp/mpich-test && cd /tmp/mpich-test && mpicc cpi.c -o
mpich-cpi && cp mpich-cpi /home/oscartst/mpich && cd /home/oscartst/mpich &&
mpirun -machinefile /home/oscartst/tmp/machines -np ./mpich-cpi
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You can see that is missing a value for the '-np' parameter in the last line
(or it is not?).
Does anyone how should I proceed to verify this point?
If I install the previous version of mpich (1.2.7-7) and re-run steps 7 and 8,
the test pass...
Cheers,
Fernando
