Hi Bruce, you should set OSCAR_VERBOSE to a number between 1 and 10. I'll fix the interpretation of "y".
The log file shows that packman-depman perl-IO-Tty and other packages were already installed. Did you install onto a clean system or were you trying to install over an existing installation? What package version/revision does the package perl-IO-Tty have? The key issue is: Executing: rpm -q perl-XML-Simple >/dev/null 2>&1 WARNING: Package perl-XML-Simple was not installed! Executing: rpm -q mysql >/dev/null 2>&1 Executing: rpm -q perl-DBD-MySQL >/dev/null 2>&1 Executing: rpm -q perl-DBI >/dev/null 2>&1 Executing: rpm -q mysql-server >/dev/null 2>&1 Executing: rpm -q perl-HTML-Tree >/dev/null 2>&1 WARNING: Package perl-HTML-Tree was not installed! Executing: rpm -q perl-Tk >/dev/null 2>&1 WARNING: Package perl-Tk was not installed! Executing: rpm -q perl-Qt >/dev/null 2>&1 WARNING: Package perl-Qt was not installed! Please verify whether the packages which were not installed are okay: rpm -V --nouser --nogroup perl-XML-Simple rpm -V --nouser --nogroup perl-HTML-Tree rpm -V --nouser --nogroup perl-Tk rpm -V --nouser --nogroup perl-Qt Thanks, best regards, Erich On Wednesday 05 July 2006 13:05, Bruce Becker wrote: > Hello OSCAR-devel. > > I'm working on a test cluster using an OSCAR 5 snapshot and SL 4.2.
