Bruce, besides sending the version of perl-IO-Tty, can you please try:
export OSCAR_VERBOSE=5 cd $OSCAR_HOME yum clean all ./install_cluster eth0 and send the new oscarinstall.log? Because you've set OSCAR_VERBOSE=y instead of a number, there's no trace on what yum really did.
