Hi John:

That shouldn't be the case - if the only thing different between the 2
types of hardware is the disk type, then you should be able to use just
one image.  I've been using this functionality for a while now (possibly
in SystemImager 3.2.3 patched).

If you can provide more information we'll be able to troubleshoot it
better - or you can try it again documenting the issues you have
encountered.
