I did not see the problems with pfilter not getting recognised this
time, though oddly the package selection list still shows the version
number of the package as 2oscar and not 3oscar.  This is probably an
error in the config file of the package and is not so much important
as slightly confusing.

I am uncertain as to what was different besides my network setup.

The behavior you describe is exactly what I want.  Using bridged
networking creates odd conflicts with the other DHCP servers on my
network.

I have left the wizard running overnight, so that is probably my
issue.  It doesn't seem to have caused any problems, just odd
messages...

I guess a bug could be filed just to document the behavior.
