Hi, To try to summarize the point i do not agree with: instead of doing a one-time population of the database when users add a new repository, you want to query the repositories every time you use the Selector, i.e., every time you create/update an image (modulo the distro/arch). Why?
I really think it will be smarter to populate the database one time with available OPKGs when users want to add extra repos. The list of available OPKGs via a specific repo is pretty static, i really do not understand why Selector should not get OPKG info from the database any more. Is it possible to have a clear answer on that point? Regards, ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
