This is normal, because YDL ppc64 is 32-bit userspace vs Fedora ppc64 which I believe is 64-bit userspace (I believe most if not all x86_64 distributions are 64-bit userspace). This was ultimately the reason why we stuck with YDL 5.0 for the initial support for the PS3, as we had a lot of trouble building RPMs on Fedora 6 ppc64. P.S. I am not sure what DongInn did in terms of PS3 support for OSCAR, but for SystemImager, I created a new arch called ppc64-ps3 to distinguish ppc64 with the PlayStation 3 -- I guess for the most part, binaries built on PS3 can be used on other archs -- except for things that are kernel dependent, like SystemImager. So I'm not sure whether we also want to create a new arch ppc64-ps3 for OSCAR.
