Still chunking away at RHEL4 and it isn't working well. I installed python2.4 from source but it cant find it still. Installing from RPM doesn't seem viable either. Installing the rpm would involve rebuilding most of rhel4 for python2.4. Ugly.
Now I was looking closer and I cant figure out why it is looking for python where it is and I was a bit confused. It seems to be installed in /home/python but the only rpm I can find for python claims it is not relocatable... Anyway, I am confused about the odd build setup and I wonder if it isn't why OSCAR cant find the installed python2.4? --> Processing Dependency: /home/python/bin/python2.4 for package: apitest --> Processing Dependency: python-abi = 2.4 for package: python-twisted --> Processing Dependency: /home/python/bin/python for package: python-twisted --> Finished Dependency Resolution Error: Missing Dependency: /home/python/bin/python2.4 is needed by package apitest Error: Missing Dependency: python-abi = 2.4 is needed by package python-twisted Error: Missing Dependency: /home/python/bin/python is needed by package python-twisted ------------------------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
