Hi Bernard,

I like the idea yum can handle this kind of issues when the version of oscar 
packages is newer than the distro one (e.g., ganglia from Fedora 8).
Sure, we can do a workaround as you mentioned. I think it is a worthwhile 
attempt.
I will try and let you know what happens.
