I just tried it on FC8 x86_64 with no joy. Doesn't get past the
pre-requisites... no perl-Tk-804.026-1.oscar and no perl-Qt.
I haven't tried to fix the problem yet. Last time I looked at this (before
the new year) I tried building perl-Qt but didn't get very far. I was meaning
to use a Qt which Allan point me at instead (from the FC6 tar). Will I have to
(attempt) build perl-Tk too?
I upped the oscar install log to http://pastebin.ca/855350, if that helps
any. I will investigate / play more when my current project is a little more
stable (probably days, rather than hours). I hope to try some simple fixes in
the odd slow compile.
Is there an estimated time frame for the release of 5.1? Or a point when the
supportted distros will be set (i.e. seeing which ones are too much work)?
Cheers,
Steve.

Hi Steve,
If I were you, I would do it with the following steps.
1. do start_over
2. Remove /tftpboot/oscar/*
3. Remove /var/lib/oscar
4. untar the latest nightly tarballs
5. Test it.
I hope that this helps you out.
