Dan,
Sounds like you have a previous version of c3 installed, there were
issues with previous rpm version and upgrading.
Regradless, if you are doing a new OSCAR-1.4 install you won't need
the old version of C3 and can simple 'rpm -e c3 c3-profiled' (not
sure if your system has the profile.d RPM too?)
After removing the old C3 rpms, you should be able to install c3-3 in
OSCAR-1.4 or if you're using it outside of OSCAR you can simply
install the RPMs directly,
root# cd oscar-1.4/packages/c3/RPMS/
root# rpm -ivh c3-3.1.1-2.noarch.rpm c3-profiled-3.1-2.noarch.rpm
* Note, this new version of C3-3 requires Python2.
If you have further problems, please post the error output to help
with troubleshooting.
