Changing /etc/sysconfig/network and /etc/host is ok, but you should change 
/etc/pfilter.conf too to reflect the master hostname change. And don't 
forget to propagate the changes (except /etc/sysconfig/network, obviously 
;)) to the nodes. 

Maybe I'm forgetting some other config file, it's only 9am here, I'm still 
kinda sleeping ;)
