I'm planning to set up a cluster using Oscar1.4 and Redhat7.3. I'm curious as to how homogenous all machines need to be, as well as how important it is that the master is also the same as the clients. Right now, I have one master that is IDE based, and 4 clients that are SCSI based. All clients are identical, but the master is slightly faster, and has much more storage than the clients. Also, in the future, could more nodes be added that are faster yet than even the master? Thanks.
