After several successful attempts with OSCAR 1.2.1 I am now encountering
the following during Step 5 of the installation process. I am still using
the same hardware and software versions from the previous successful
installs (I am using vmware). Here is the following error:
Checking to make sure PBS is running & configured...
...pbs_server is running
...MAUI scheduler is running
...queue workq not enabled, PBS configuration incomplete
...queue workq not started, PBS configuration incomplete
...server not scheduling, PBS configuration incomplete
...trying to update PBS configuration
...using PBS configuration file in ../pbs/config/ for update
./test_install: ../pbs/config/pbs_server.conf: No such file or directory
...could not update PBS configuration, exiting
...Hit a key to exit...
I have checked my system as well as the original tarball for 1.2.1 and it
appears that pbs_server.conf is nonexistent, yet is referenced for use in
the test_install script. Does anyone have any ideas and/or suggestions as
to why this error would now appear? What conditions might be contributing
to this?
I would appreciate any suggestions.
