Jimmy,
I can't answer your question, but I have a few
comments. First, is there is a list somewhere in OSCAR
of:

-- supported IDE drives
-- supported SCSI adapters/drives
-- supported, net bootable ethernet adapters?

I'd like to be able to either go to the list or
somewhere in CVS and find what devices are supported
in the network boot kernel and ramdisk, or we need to
maintain a list for users to find out what's
supported... if the lists exist, sorry, just tell me
where they are.

I thought hda was the correct device for the first
ide drive, so I'd stick with that.

As far as deleting the win2k partition, no you don't
have to do that -- oscar will gleefully blast the
win2k partition for you ;-) Rich
