Hi all,
I am trying to setup OSCAR on a 7 node linux cluster and I've run into a
problem. I am at the stage where you network boot your nodes so they
will load the oscar image. I am using PXE and it looks like the nodes
are able to get their IP address and load the image but then dhclient
runs and I get the message:
cat: /floppy/local.cfg: No such file or direcotry
It then tries serveral DHCPDISCOVERs...
DHPDISCOVER on eth0 to 255.255.255.255 port 67 interval 5
but returns with "No DHCPOFFERS received"
I have verified that the dhcp server is running on my master node so I'm
kind of at a loss. One other strange thing is that when dhclient runs
the ethernet address it is broadcasting is off by 1 (ie. the last octet
is 94 instead of 95). Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Jenny =)
