Hello All, I've tried all aspects but still can't get RH8.0 installed on my system, I have installed RH7.3 instead. I hope you guys can help me out.
Can you pls. let me know how RH8.0 installation flow is, my interpretation is: RH8.0 runs the follwoing in sequence: 1.0 INITRD 2.0 VMLINUZ 3.0 KERNEL 4.0 OPENS THE WINDOWS FOR INTERACTIVE INSTALLATION. - Type of install - partition - packages - etc. My installation hangs when the screen reaches the following lines, not even going into the interactive protion (with the lines below I interpret it as the KERNEL installation having problems: *********************************** POSIX conformance testing by UNIFIX enabled ExtINT on CPU # 0 ESR value before enabling vector: 00000002 *********************************** I have the following items on my PC: - AMD Athlon XP 1800 - 40GB HD, 25 for Windows XP (FAT32), 10GB for Data (NTFS) and 5 GB left for RH8.0 (unallocated free space). - Innovision GEForce2 - 512 MB SRAM - Nvidia Sound cards Appreciate your help and thanks in advance. best regards, > --- "Mark Gerald M.
