Hello I've never installed Oscar before and the first time I'll do that will be on next Monday, in a customer's company. Thus, everything must go right. My customer needs RH 7.3 plus X window (Gnome or KDE), Latex, XPDF, Samba and a "cluster manager". There are only 4 Dual Xeon 2.4/1GB RAM/40 GB Disk nodes. All nodes have both CD and floppy drives. What option you think is the best one: 1 - Try installing Oscar with a full package list. (I got it by using "ls -la >> file.txt" and editing file.txt. 2 - Install every node via CD and, after all, install Oscar. In this case, is it possible (and easy) to configure Oscar ? 3 - Try to find another options ????
Have anyone tried to install any of that non-basic software via Oscar ? Did you have success on that ? Thanks for your help.
