Until the 2.5 / 2.6 kernel schedular changes, hyperthreading isn't very
useful under Linux. It will just see each P4 proc as 2 procs, and treat
them accordingly. For high load jobs, this can actually hurt performance.
In 2.5 / 2.6 Linux becomes much more aware of what is really going on, and
you can get the performance boost from the hyperthreading.
