Hello OSCAR friends

We are about to upgrade and extend our OSCAR cluster (which has been
running quite nicely for about a year). At the moment, we are running
Intel PIV 1.7 GHz machines, operating system is RedHat 7.3 with updates,
kernel version 2.4.18-3smp. I want to know if anyone has

1) Successfully tested and used OSCAR on RedHat 9 machines, in a
production environment
2) Managed to take advantage of the hyper-threading capabilities of the
new Intel Xeon chips, specifically the PIV 2.66 GHz processors. We are
looking to buy the D865GBF Intel chipset board.

Any advice, shared experience, prayers, etc, gratefully accepted.
Thanks
Bruce
