Sundaram, During the "Defining clients" stage of the install you don't want to list your master node b/c that information is used to build (install) the cluster nodes (via the image built in the previous step).
You can use the master node in your computations (cluster usage) if you choose depending on the situtation. For example if you want to run a simple PVM job outside the queuing system (PBS) then you would just list all hosts (master node included) that you want the virtual machine to run on. See the User guide for further information about MPI and PVM jobs, etc. --tjn _________________________________________________________________________ Thomas Naughton [EMAIL PROTECTED] Research Associate (865) 576-4184 On Tue, 2 Sep 2003, Sundaram A wrote: > Dear All, > > I am new to OSCAR, while defining the clients can i use the master node > as my first client. > > Regards > Sundar > ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ Oscar-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/oscar-users
