Folks,
I've found two problems with the LAM-MPI installation in relation to
OSCAR.
Firstly, the special OSCAR RPM creates a symlink from mpi++.h to
mpi2c++/mpi++.h This file does not exist in LAM-7.0, and I don't think
that the file mpi++.h is needed any longer anyway.
Secondly, RedHat 9 includes a version of LAM in its distribution
(lam-6.5.8-4) could possibly be also installed and confuse naive (and
not so naive) users. As part of the installation, this package should
be removed when the OSCAR versions are installed.
