Actually, I think I know what happened. The OSCAR LAM RPM used to be
named lam-<version>-<release>oscar.i586.rpm. Hence, it had the same base
name as the "lam" RPM that was installed by RedHat, and when the OSCAR
version was installed, it was via "rpm -Uvh", so the RH LAM was simply
"upgraded" to the OSCAR RPM.
I'll file a bug to fix this. Thanks for noticing.
