Can someone please tell me how to ensure a completely clean re-install.

I'm running the latest OSCAR and RH 9.0

I ran a new install today and realized that I picked the wrong kernel image which had already been downloaded to all the nodes.  I had not "finished the install" before someone killed the install script and rebooted the machine, thus leaving things in heaven knows what state.  Prior to starting the install script again, I ran the script for a re-install (sorry I forgot the actual name of the script), but I noted in the install documentation that this script isn't an "uninstall" script. This leads me to belive that some things are left in an unkown state.

So, what I want to do prior to starting a new install again, is to ensure that I do have a clean environment so the scripts work correclty.  So far, I have reloaded all the RPMS as I noticed the install documentation said that some of the RPMs are deleted/replaced in favor of the OSCARized versions.  So, rather than take a chance, I reloaded all the RPMS.

1. Is it possible to get things back to a clean state?
2. If so, how can I accomplish this?
