The ONLY guaranteed way to ensure a completely clean install is to
re-install the operating system.  However, you can reconfigure the
kernel_picker package, and possibly rebuild the image, to pick a
different kernel for the clients.  Since you've already started
adding/removing RPMs, you're probably best off re-installing the OS.
